WORKSHOP DURATION 2 HOURS
- Understanding different theatre roles and their place within a production
- Exploring the use of metaphor in theatre through the lens of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet
- Exercises geared towards grasping the technicals of theatre-making
Workshop for English-speaking young people. Come and spend the whole morning with us in the theatre!
When watching a show, seated comfortably in the audience, we don’t usually think of all the time and effort that has been
put into the piece. We might admire the actors’ work, praise the director or make-up artist, but what about the dramaturg,
stage manager or light technician? During our workshop you will learn about all the people that make theatre happen.
You will also learn about metaphorical expression, which is crucial for the language of theatre, and how to appreciate the
role of the spectator. Let us share the secrets of theatre with you!
This workshop is open to all levels of theatre experience. For groups of up to 20 explorers, ages 15+.
Intermediate English is required.
Our HOW IS THEATRE MADE workshops can be experienced in any order.
